Even The Leaves Change

So... autumn started. It's lovely. It doesn't show too much here right now, the trees are mostly green and the weather is hot. Being the autumn enthusiast that I am I went on a walk, seeking out the small changes and photographed each one for this post.

Each year September comes along, and I'm sure it brings it's own meaning for everyone. This is usually the time I evaluate the last year. What's different? What hasn't changed? Are things good the way they are now?

Each year we grow, and no matter how much we want them to things will not stay the same.
That's for the best though, isn't it? If nothing changed we'd be bored, we'd never improve or learn.
I think fall is a good time to reflect on things. Looking back is nice sometimes.

  1. Such a touching post. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that you're an autumn enthusiast. I love these pictures and the captions that accompany them. Quite poetic, my friend.
